Default 214/218 112+3 4.8 wanting FI

I wanted to know what type of FI would work best with my truck.
4.8 799 heads milled .035 ,tbss intake also
214/218 112+3 lsa lifts come in at .553 on both intake and exhaust.
Has a 3200 stall and 4.10 gears
Looking at either a procharger /roots(preferred to keep long tubes) or single turbo thanks in advance

You could do either.

I would say you are best suited for a procharger right now with the 3200 converter and that cam. A roots cam typically is spec'd the way it is to help bleed off cyl pressure down low because it makes boost so instantaneously. Both will work, but I would say there would be a more radical change for a maggie cam than a procharger cam.

Thanks man and thanks for helping spec out the cam. I have psi .625 valve springs should I be worried about them lasting If I make the switch to FI

Nah they'll be fine.

If you were going to plan for big boost I may say otherwise.

After tuning where did shift points land?

I still haven't tuned it because it's 450 for a dyno tune and 400 for a retune after I'm looking to see if a used procharger pops up so I won't spend an extra 400 dollars on the retune

500 dollars, and a crusty old laptop will get you unlimited time with HPTuners

.
I put in a TexasSpeed 212/218 'low lift' with LS6 springs.

. Not fired it up yet, waiting for TVS1900 compressor to arrive.
