2011 Denali Flo Pro Install
First off let me start that the main reason for doing this was to get dual outlets coming from the back (what GM should have done in the first place). I wanted the dual tailpipes but did not want a loud sounding exhaust especially with my long tubes. After much research I decided on trying a Flo Pro 2500HD muffler (P/N 2508). This muffler features a 3-1/2" inlet and dual 2-1/2" outlets. I was also able to find that Dynomax makes some universal tailpipes for these trucks made from 409 SS. That along with some hangers, clamps and some cuts and scrapes I was able to complete this project this weekend.
I used the stock intermediate pipe (coming from the y-pipe to the muffler) and welded the Flo Pro on. I used (2) of the hangers to affix the muffler (w/intermediate pipe) into the stock locations where the original tail pipe was hung.
My only concern right now is the muffler is made from aluminized steel and I live in New England so winters can be tough. I have an email out to Flo Pro about adding a weep hole to assist with the water drainage and I want to coat the exhaust in the summer.
Overall my initial impressions are good! Feel free to ask any questions. I hope to get some underside pictures soon.
I am also trying to find a tip I like.

If you are concerned about aluminized mild steel don't be mislead that 409SS is going to hold up much better in the winter. If you are around any salt mist or drive in the winter you will see oxidation in one year. 308L is a totally different story.
I buy metal enclosures at work and I won't even allow 409SS anymore. It is cheaper to get 308L and have it last longer.

I completely understand that 409 is nowhere near as corossion resistant as a 300 series stainless. My bigger concern than the salt is the corrosive water created during the combustion process. Seeing that the muffler is the lowest part of the system, the water will not mix well with the aluminized steel construction over time.
