Default 2011 1500 Header Options

I've convinced my brother to put some longtubes on his truck (2011 with a 5.3). I recently put a Kooks full system on the G8 and love it. Easy to bolt on, great quality, performance and sound....price was high though! I know a lot of the G8 guys op to go with the same dimensional setup offered by OBX for half the cost. He's not wanting to spend a fortune so OBX is what I recommended him. He said he's looked and looked but can't find anything for the 07-14 models. I briefly looked and didn't come up with anything either, so here I am. What are some of the better options out there for him? Ideally, we would like to go with a full bolt-on kit if it's offered.

I have had calspeed headers on mine for about 3 years. They only make an off-road y pipe.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. After A LOT of reading ( https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...532064/page51/ ), I believe I'll go with Speed Engineering's "True Dual Exhaust System 2007-2013 (Crew & Extra Cab)" in combination with their 1 3/4 longtubes. Apparently, the next batch of the true dual systems will work with the 6L80s.

Owned both tsp and speed engineering headers they're both great quality headers and damn good deals and both have great customer service. just take your pick of one of the two and you'll be happy either way especially your wallet not having to dump 1100 on another set

I would go with speed engineering. I heard some bad reviews about the fitment of tsp 1 3/4ths.
