Not that I have done any of this to my truck, but.... LS3 with minor upgrades, full exhaust, and some tuning should be more than enough to get him to his goal. Plus, still leave money for a good transmission.

Default Update ---

Thanks for the responses guys.

I've done a shake up in my plans and would really be grateful for some advice...

I want to cam and stall my truck. Right now I'm looking to keep the guts stock (I.E. LM7, 4L60, 3.73 w/ G80) but I'm trying to get my combo down. I've looked at 224/224, 220/220, and even 214/220 cams mated to a 3600-2800 stall with accessory mods to keep it all running smooth (I.E. lifters, springs, etc.)
My goal is to keep this truck as a good daily but with the obligatory red light attitude and performance. If that doesn't make sense I apologize but does anyone have any advice on what combo I should run?
