Default 07 Silverado Problem

I have an 07 Silverado 5.3 2wd
I just bought a k&n air filter for it and installed it replacing the stock paper filter. I also cleaned the throttle body.
When I first started it the truck revved up real quick to around 1500rpm and stayed there a moment until dropping to 1000 then to 600 and was ideling normally.
When I first drove it, it seems like it's ideling way too high. In drive, with my foot completely off the gas and the break the truck creeped forward and kept picking up speed. It was picking up rpms almost as if I was gently on the gas. It climed to around 1500 then shifted into 2nd gear.
Then that's where it stays at, in 2nd gear and it cruises around 20mph when ideling in drive.
The computer should have adjusted for the filter shouldn't it? It's been like this for about a week now.....any ideas?
Thanks

Did you put the intake tube properly back on to the throttle body?

IF you pushed open the TB blade when you cleaned it, you must have a relearn done for the throttle body/Idle.

No other way to fix this really. A tech 2 scanner, a modis and solous scanner can do the relearn.
