Default 04 silverado 5.3 btr truck stg3 cam question

How bad would my ecsb 1500 4x4 with 3.73 gears and 33" tires (will be 35" tires and 4.56 gears later on) be with the btr stg3 truck cam with stock converter be atleast for awhile? I'm in the process of building a aluminum block 5.3 l33 to replace my lm7 as it has 215k on it and got the block free. I'm not totally against a stall converter like a circle d 2600 stall 300mm or they're 278mm but just had the trans rebuilt 3000mi ago to handle 550hp and the stock stall converter in it now is just as new. New to cams and stalls.

It may be OK since you have gears. You definitely want a stall. Their 3200 stall would be fun with 4.56s.

That cam is a 218/224. I would run it with a 3000 rpm converter at minimum. The truck will run and drive, but the performance will not be as great!

How would it be drivability and performance wise with a circle d 2600 300mm?

I'm looking to get some info on gears for my truck as well, it's a 2003 rcsb 2wd silverado with a bolt on stock head/intake manifold lq9/4l60e built with a 3200 stall, just did a btr stage 4 truck cam in it. I'm looking into doing gears next but not sure what would benefit me the best. The truck is a toy and not a daily driver, no towing or highway driving. The trucks also sitting on 275/45/20s right now but I might swap the back wheels and put some drag radials on it later but as of right now that's what I'm running.

I've got the btr stage 3 with the 278mm circle d converter 2600-2800 stall and it will blast the tires off when the coverter flashes from a dead stop or light roll with 3.42 gear and a 31 inch tire. I'd say it performs well.

BTR recommends a 2600 up to 3000 Stall with their Truck Stage 3 Cam. Their Truck Stage 2 Cam will work fine with stock converter and work best with a 2400-2600 stall. 35's and 4.56 will be perfect.

I currently have 4.56's and 34's and will be using the BTR Truck Stage 2 cam and stock converter. I tow around 7600 lbs and Circle D said it would be best to stay with stock due to heat.
