02 5.3 m90 build
Purchasing my M90 eaton tonight and looking for a little advice, the truck is an 02 sierra 5.3, 212/218 522/529 112lsa cam, hardened pushrods, pac 1218 springs, LS1 efans, Longtube headers ory with a cutout at the end of the Y. Currently have it tuned by justin at blackbear. I am pretty good with fabbing and dont think I will have an issue making the sidemount. I was going to go ahead and pin the crank while I'm at it.
My major questions are what upgrades to the fuel system will be needed if needed at all? I assume it will at least need bigger injectors and possibly a pump but don't have a clue what size.
I also am not famliar with forced induction systems. I think I am going to run an air/air intercooler, but aside from the supercharger and intercooler what else will I need ie blow off valve, bypass valve..
My last question is will my truck throttle body bolt up to the m90 from a grand prix and if not does anyone know where an adapter plate can be found?
Thanks in advance

It likely won't bolt up, unless your throttle body has the same pattern and fits on. Then you need to figure out some sort of gasket.
The M90 has a BBV right on the side.
And just so you know the stock 3.8in pulley would only make 6-7 psi on a 3800 from the factory, so add 2 more cylinder and boost will go down. You will likely want to step down to a 3.0/3.2 or even like a 2.8 to spin that thing fast enough to make some boost.
I own a pontiac myself but never heard of anyone doing one with a 5.3.

I have to agree, I have a M112 and that's even too small to make decent power. On a bone stock 5.3 with nice flowing exhaust I am making 8lbs on a 3.0 pulley and cranking out 430whp and that is in a car with a T56.
If you were to fab anything I would of bought a MP112 or a M122 from a GT500 or Cobra and built from there as it will atleast support the air you will need to make power.
I remember somewhere a guy did a build going from a M90 to a M122 and then some other bigger blower and the M90 made 2-4lbs of boost pullied down and lots of heat.
