Rear looks good, but the front almost looks like it could come up some. Then again pics can very easily be deceiving. Have you measured the angle that the output of the trans is at and the rear differential as well?

Were your tires "road force" balanced?

If not,

Find someone with a Hunter GSP 9700 balancing machine and ask them to road force balance them.

If it takes more tha 3/4 of an ounce to balance it out, have them break the bead on the tire and rotate it 180 degrees.

If it sat long, you could have a nasty flat spot in your tires.

Will a road force balance catch flat spots? Also, wouldn't flat spots vibrate at more than just exactly 60mph? Good idea, I'll see if I can find a place.

It most certainly will catch them. That's the great thing about the GSP 9700 balancers.

It uses a wheel that applies force to the rim/tire setup.

Awesome link! Found a place just down the road. I'm heading out of town in a couple days so will setup something for next week.

Oh, and here is a diagram of measurements. I'm probably at 2 degrees at the transfer case now and about the same at the pinion.

A CV (double cardan) driveshaft would take care of any problems, right?

Dual cardan setup in your case would be a waste of money.... Have the tires RF balanced and see what it happens... have you done what i suggested yet?

Gotcha.

I ran it up to 65 today, let off the gas and coasted. Vibration while under power and costing. That's about the same test as in neutral right?

If not I'll have a chance again tomorrow night.

No coasting the drivetrain is still engaged, you have to put it in neutral to eliminate the drivetrain....

Still vibrates in neutral.

So trans output shaft, xfer, driveshaft, axel, or tires can be the prob.

Converter and flywheel must be ok.
