Took off the heat sheild and used a socket or a wrench, cant remember. If you can remove your exhaust it makes it much easier to get to.

just read 11 pages on this and all i was able to get was Napa, part number 730-4953 for my install.. looks like i cant go the expensive way since its another $200 that i dont have... will this part convert to stock tranny lines so i can just simply connect them to the tru-kool? i havent seen what the trukool comes with since it got ordered to my cousins shop but im assuming it has all the necessary part to connect it from here? any one can give me a heads up? i can spare another 50-70 bucks but just not 200 since i just bought an eps cam and 3600 circle d stall.. thanks

The true cool will come with some hose and clamps and a few fittings. Just cut the stock hard lines and slide the rubber hose on and clamp it down.. I ran mine with just the stuff that came with the true cool for well over a year

Yeah I ran mine like that too for about 40,000 miles with no problems, I really only swapped because I was tired of fitting the hard lines during transmission and engine swaps. Rather than quit blowing **** up I decide to just make it easier to swap drivetrain components
