I have not been able to find a "drum reinforcement kit". Im wondering if I hsould just by a hardened drum. the hardened drum and hardened input shaft are like $160.
Pretty sure thats just a stock drum, with the reinforcement ring, and a 4l65e input shaft.

the shaft is over $500, last time I checked it was $450

got the 5 pinion planetaries today from PATC, things are coming together. I just hope my paycheck is enough to wrap up the rest of the parts so I can at least get the internals done.

still waiting on parts from Dana @ Pro Built. he said it would take an extra week cause he was slammed, I wont bug him till monday.

truck is still on jackstands. Work took a turn for the worst, I have no work. No paychecks for 5 weeks and I m barely hanging in there. so now I get to just look at it. I should start getting busy in Sept or Oct, I should be able to get the rest of the parts.

I have enough to rebuilt a functional tranny now, but Im holding out. I dont want to do this again.
