Cool Took the tumble, snagged a Ace racing 4l80e

So my 60 after a longtime decided to leave the other week. I still am not sure if it is a input shaft or just a pump, but i said *** it and found a great deal on a new Ace racing transmission, has some billet goodies inside of it also, so should handle the task.. I will give props to P built for building a excellent unit for me back in 2008/9. It had its share of boosted power. With the 80 soon on its way, I am looking to go a bit bigger on the converter, step up to a 34-3600, turn the boost up a little more. Looking into Circle D or PI so far. Kinda excited to make the next step, but not happy about dumping all this money I do not have... will keep it posted..

I think you will be pretty happy with the 80e. It definitely drives heavier due to the longer first gear, but if you add a little more power to overcome that it will feel stronger from a roll.

Mine shifts real crisp... ive never felt a 60 that can rifle off shifts like this 80 does.
