Default Single or Multi disk Stall? im lost...

so im gonna need to get a stall here in the future, but not sure on what i need. Ive looked at circle d's site and they have 3 performance levels, and different sizes, and different amount of discs. how does one choose? this will be going on the truck in my signature, with 243 heads, tbss intake, forced induction, spray, and a 224 or 224/228 cam. dont really wanna go overkill if i dont need to when i could take the savings and put it towards something else. thanks in advance for input

Locking up the clutch under power would be the only reason to want a triple disc.

so from what im reading in that link u posted it seems like a single disc is what i should get. my build will be either procharged or whipple supercharged, but from what people have said in there, locking up a boosted heavy *** vehicle at WOT isnt a good idea. whats the purpose of locking it up? as opposed to downshifting a gear...?

what did you end up going with vortec? my build should be in the 5-600rwhp ranged thats procharged and spraying no more than a 100 shot now and then with 3.73 gears. this is my dd that id like to play around on the street/highway...u know, just cruising on the highway then a stang or something comes up and....we know how the story ends lol.

I know it's an extreme case but the guy on here with the twin tvs 427 burned up his single disk without locking it up.

But i agree if you don't lock at wot no need for 3 disk. If you're going turbo though i would recommend it.

Why is there even a market for a single disk?
