Ridetech Coil-overs Installed gmt-800

They fit and actually have more room than I thought they would. I had to make some aluminum bushing/spacers for the top bolt on the back of the bracket. But other than that all bolt in. Ridetech stuff is top quality. Now I just need to save some cash for the front.

Great stuff in here. So from reading through this all it looks like the only way to get rid of the leaf springs and run a fat tire almost to the frame is to use air bags?
I was thinking there might be a coil over option that gets rid of the leafs and has the shocks inside the frame rails. I guess that wouln't make for very good handling though.

To gain tire clearance, a link bar system inside the frame would be needed. This would be fine for street and drag setups but would inversely impact handling by moving the control points away from the wheel. Bags or coilovers could be used with nearly any link bar setup with some minor hardware changes.
