Very cool calc! I didn't know about suspension frequency, good read.

I punched in my guesstimates and came up with 684.76, will use that as a starting point.

Are you sure thats right? Mine is near the 1400lb mark with a frequency of 2hz...

I went with 1.5hz and I don't have access to scales so my weight is probably not right, just an average of what I have seen others report (at 2hz I'm around 1200lb)

Also while I'm waiting I'm trying to get in contact with a racing buddy of mine to see if he still has his 4 corner scales.

So what about the 800 rate do you not like? I spoke with Jon at DBRods and he sells the kit with 800 iirc


ETA: he said for rcsb it's typically 750, 800 for ecsb, and 850 for cc

Well actually 800# isn't that bad - I forgot about the adjustable shocks

I had them at about 5 clicks from full hard for the canyon and forgot to turn them back, I went down to 11 clicks and it's much better now, more compliant over the bumps.

Initially they felt too cushy and I had to over compensate with the firmness of the shock, but I did find a happy-medium for daily driving that is comfortable.
(I just have to get over the fact that I'm not tubbed and will rub the inside of the fender occasionally)

I still want to play around with spring rates and length, but for now I'm sticking with 800#'s.

At 4" with these **** shocks I rub all the time and hate it. Jon said around 15 is a good medium setting. But I'll play around with the settings.
