I saw where someone mentioned above about the upper ball joint possibly fitting different in McGaughty or Bellech spindles.

Don't forget guys, the upper ball joint hole has to have a 1/2" drill bit run through it for the new ball joint to seat properly.

Can't comment on the McG's but Belltech's fit just fine. - milesp07 said he had to machine the McG's so the lower balljoint could move freely, plus with those you only get 1" of drop.

Yea you remove .023" of material to clear the balljoint stud.

Interested in doing this swap however I'm running an 05' Sierra that has the odd front suspension setup utilizing torsion bars instead of coils and swing steering instead of rack and pinion. I know Atomic makes some mounts for the 4WD guys but not sure if this is identical to a 4WD front end.

Yes 2wd t-bar and 4wd suspension are the same and they are different from 2wd coil-spring front ends.

So all you need is Atomic's mounts.

Really good info in here guys. I've put maybe 7k miles on this set up and its the best mod I've done so far...even just slapping them in without the arms, just completed a 350 mile trip and it rides like a dream
Here's how it sits now

Curious guys...when I jack my truck up the springs are loose, like they can move up down and all around. Is this a bad thing? Perhaps I'm not using the correct length spring? Or does it not really matter

No, it just means you are low, on my old set up to sit level my passenger side coil was like that. It doesn't hurt along as you're not bottomed out in travel.
