Ya they were 29" tall, Pirellis run small (255/70r16)

My new set-up is still 29" tall, just a 255/45r20 on 20x9"s now.

I haven't done anything lately to mine. May raise it up some if I keep it or lift it. The new car gets all my attention.

Alright. Ridetech sent me a eyelet mount shock instead of the stud mount that I ordered. I have a couple options.

1. Send them back and have them send me the correct shocks.

2. Have them send me the stud mount and install it myself.

3. Use an adapter.

My question is this. Where can I find an adapter to install these tomorrow? I have called everywhere and most places have no idea what I am talking about. Also, if I do use an adapter will it cause the 4.1 shock to bottom out or put it out of the "sweet spot"? Unfortunately the guy I talked to at ride tech did not seem so tech savy. Im thinking I am just going to send them back. Any ideas?

I would have them send a return label for you and send them back for the correct ones.

Do you have a 4wheelparts near you? They have them there. The stud mount is actually .3" longer than the eyelet so account for that too. I took a piece of square tubing and drilled 1/2" holes for shock bolts to use when mocking up my front end. I was very close 40% or so compression at the ride height I wanted. Other than that It's hard to say without putting it all together to find out.

I went ahead and shipped them back rather than go through the hassle. Hopefully I get them back in time to do the install next weekend.

Ok boys. Im gathering info and from what I gather I need 4.1 shocks with 10" springs and about 950-1000# rate for my crew cab.

Few questions. Where do I order the 950-1000# springs as ride tech site dosent show them.

Also should I go with the Rq or the Hq series?

I got my springs from Shock-Shop.com, only issue is Hyperco only makes 2.5x10" springs up to 900#, you may have to go with 8" springs as they go up to 1200#.

Hq at the least, that way you get some control over the rebound setting.
