Recommended update parts for 4l60e rebuild
Hey guys.
I'm rebuilding the trans in my truck. 4l60e in a GMT800 4x4.
I already ordered a master rebuild kit with HD(not performance. I.E. red or blue frictions) frictions and band. It's also coming with the update pack assembly to increase the amount of frictions as well. Also ordered a HD Sun Shell.
Now this is my daily. It occasionally sees trailer or heavy hauling use. Eventually I'll be finishing my other engine for it. That'll be a mild tow/hauling build. Cam and decked/mild ported heads.
Is there any other recommended up fit parts I should get? I.E. metal accumulator pistons, pinless accumulator pistons, corvette servo, etc.?
Thanks guys.

Corvette servo, new aluminum accumulator pistons, wide sungear bushing, new separator plate if yours is worn out at the check ball locations, torlon checkballs.
There's a lot of improvements you can make. I suggest spending some time going through the forums researching what works for other people's builds.
Don't forget to spend extra time and effort making sure there's no leaks in the 3rd gear circuit.
