A flip kit with a 1in lift shackle could do it or just buy some drop hangers and install those to get you another 1-2in in the rear.

yea those aren't to hard or expensive deff should try those first. hoping they will get it low enough. I and lazy and don't want to do a flip kit lol. I also am trying to keep this whole truck down in price. I started this project for absolutely no reason to begin wit lol. I never owned a Chevy before, never owned any pick up, before bought this truck to jump into learning the turbo ls platform its been a huge learning experience and fun. and I am thankful for all you guys on this site that have helped me out so far!!!!

Make sure to measure yoor pinion angle when you are done.

I had to install a 6 degree shim to correct my driveshaft/pinion angle from going lower.

I put hangers on yesterday. two of us in no hurry did it in about 4 hours. do yourself a favor and just do a flip kit and shackle back up to the height you want.. youll want to go lower later anyway.
