finishing mine as we speak hope you like it not that hard of a swap you just got a lot of lil things to do to repin ur pcm i found a suburban 97 and got the pcm pin from it there easy to take out take the plastic protector off the front and push them thru they come right out then i soldered them in .

Pewter53 - I went ahead and got the Speartech harness adapter w/ VSS
nonnieselman - prolly gonna be borrowing one from cablebandit for awhile...I forget what the stall is on his spare verter

I didn't know until today which core was used...
it ended up being the one I wanted...
the later model w/ one tranny cooler line fitting front and one rear...
complete rebuild w/ shift kit and vac mod...
it also has the fully splined output shaft

I believe it was Wilde Racing that summed it up best. Welcome to the transmission that doesn't slip club. I have yet to install mine, the plan is the weekend of the 3rd so we will see.
