Not to come off like a ********, but there isn't much to a driveshaft. Material, yoke, joints, and balancing. This is the equivalent to some other shops shafts that are more expensive, you're correct. My Camaro's PST 3.5" shaft was shorter, same quality, slightly better front yoke and it was $475ish and I think they've gone up. This one has the CAM yoke on the front (documented failures), which has always done well behind autos but has failed in manual cars that launched really hard. This will never apply to my yukon so no issue there. At the end of the day its as good as you're gonna get for the price, period. I did my homework. And, I've already driven with it and its perfectly smooth at hwy speeds.

None taken... As long as you are good and you already did homework. There is a lot of cheap steel and aluminum from overseas and a lot of failures to match.

Got my shafts today. Look good! Much beefier than the stock ones. Spray bombed the front steel shaft so this one doesn't rust like the stock one hopefully.

How much did ya end up spending on yours? I have a 4WD NNBS Crew with 4.10 gears and a factory 20" tire size and it sure feels like it vibrates above 90mph. I went over 125 with it when it had 3.42s and 18s and it was fine. That was a long time ago tho.

Im considering the one off of ebay that was listed above, they have a NNBS crew shaft for $528 shipped.

Thanks for the information . I'm going to try the ebay guy too. Like the guy said above, it's like buying a name brand shoe from the same factory they make the off brand. I'm glad there's an option for us poor folk

For what its worth, on my old 2008, i had blown through 2 stock driveshafts before i wised up and got a beefier one. I ended up getting the one from ebay and my high speed vibration issues went away after it was installed. It was a much better piece than the stock shaft and i think i paid about 530 for it. Ill need to look into a new one for the denali eventually and ill probably go with this same builder from ebay.

I took out the factory shaft after a small cam and heads install. Went with the Driveshaftsepcialist.com in San Antonio. But after I installed a 383 stroker and got caught up in a little friendly "Spirited Driving" I took out the driveshaft, the transmission, the rear pinion yoke and beat the **** out of the steel gas tank cover!

My truck is an 03 GMC Sierra with an 8ft bed, lowered 3x4 and running 20x8 265/35 in the front and 20x10 295/35 in the rear. I did that carnage at about 115 maybe 120. Not sure, I wasn't looking at the speedo went it took a dump!

I checked the pinion angle and added 4 degrees of shim but I am scared to death to get it over 100 now. Scary on the dyno too, not sure what my options are.
