Most important mods to 06 4L65E 4x4 for 500+rwhp?
#15
with 500rwhp you might get it hold a while but it will blow. A fully built 60e should hold it. If you can aford it eaither that or the 80e swap. But if u want to try to make it hold a while put on a cooler, vett servo, and a transgo hd2 shift kit. I wouldnt spend any more then that in a stock tranny.

Listen to this guys, they're trying to help. A 4L60E will granade with 400+ hp. Heck, I don't feel safe beating on mine and I only have full boltons lol, I should be around 300-315 rwhp

You can build up your 60e to hold be power, but it's going to take way more than $350 for hard parts. Check out some of the sponsors and "their" hard parts list.
this all depends on your driving habbits and how often you hit the track

Ain't that the truth! Pontiac Derek - take a look at PATC for some upgrade ideas and how much some of the components cost (billet input/output shafts, etc.).
