Default HPTuners Shift Pressure Values?

Just curious. I don't mess around in there on my own.

I have been comparing tune files and see in one instant the numbers changed in Brake Shift Pressure from 90 to 96.

In the other tables they are all increased by 4.

I think I read the lower the value the higher the pressure but I wanted to ask you guys.

Just curious? Which way does it go?

Thanks

Higher number = more pressure

Lower number = less pressure

Also know that the values in that table mean nothing without comparing the force motor table as they work together. That's not counting all the adder tables.

Thanks, that's why I don't mess around there. I was just doing compares and wondering.

That table is actually the column lookup table for the Force Motor Current (FMC) table. You can increase the values in that table that moves you over a column in the FMC table, or you could just change the values in the FMC table directly. The values in the FMC table are miliamps to the shift pressure relief valve (forgot the actual name) in the trans, so the more current the more the RELIEF valve opens. That's an easy way to remember the lower the value the less relief so the harder the shift.
