I did the torsion bar adjustment according to the GMFS article. It took about 30 min, but most of that time was spent jacking up each side of the truck with the OEM jack and putting a block under it (some of us aren't blessed with a floor jack and jack stands). I gained an inch on the passenger side (3 3/4 turns) and 1 1/4" on the drivers side to level it out (6 turns). I haven't driven it around much since doing it a few hours ago, but I can't feel it being any stiffer than before. I can tell a slight difference in the stance, but since it was no money out of pocket, I am pleased. Thanks for all of the input guys.

Also, do I now need to get my truck re-aligned? If it was only lifted 1", how important is it that I do it now, instead of in a few months?

Is there a way I can check myself? Like dangle a plumb line to see if it touches both the top and the bottom of the side of the tire? Also, better change my sig.

your camber will be throw off, I am 100% sure. Its just up to you on if its worth the alignment. Also depends how far its off.

It looks level now. Personally, I would not lift the front end any more than that. I will try to post a picture tomorrow. Try it yourself like the article earlier in the post instructs. If it looks funny, you can undo it in the same amount of time. I have gathered that the Ford keys allow for more lift. Hope this helps.

It's a BIG truck! I'll see if I can do something about that.
