What's the easiest way to remove torque converter bolts that's the only thing stopping me from pulling my motor out.

Take out your starter and access the bolts from the starter hole. Have someone rotate your motor from the crank bolt so you can get to each bolt and break them loose.

It really helps to remove whatever is in the way of the flexplate to get the best access...but pretty much every vehicle can benefit from removing the starter.

That is the easiest and only as far as I know.

Some transmitions have an acces pannel but none of the modern Chevy tansmitions do that I know of.

Like others have said, pull starter to get to bolts. You can use a 1/2 drive and socket to rotate the motor from the front and hold the motor from spinning when you loosen the TQ converter bolts.

Push the transmission up from the crossmember as far as it will go and remove the starter. I like to use a IR 3/8" drive impact with a impact 15mm swivel and an air hose swivel on the impact. It works really well.

remove starter, turn crank until you can see the converter bolt at the top corner. stick a long extension over the crossmember with a squiggler and a shallow socket. attach the impact to the other end. bolt files out (or the squiggler shoots at you if you dont have the right angle)
