Well the good news is if you have the 1500 style LCA then you can do the swap with my brackets.

If you have the 2500hd style LCA then you can do the swap without my brackets.

So either way you can do it!

Just a reminder, I still have a set of Atomic's lower conversion brackets, along with everything else to do the swap that I want to sell CHEAP. I never installed anything, and I'm selling my Escalade, but I'm way past the window to return to Summit, so if you're interested, PM me and I'll send you a list of all the parts I have, the short version is that I was going for a 3/5+ lowering with the stud top shock mounts, have the correct length QA1 shocks for the back as well as a bag over axle setup (bags and brackets) for the SUV rear end. I've even got the torsion bar tool I can throw in.

Has anyone used QA1 coilovers in conjunction with 2" spindles to get the equivalent of a 2wd 4/6 drop? I know 4wd guys sometime say what drop they have but that is from 4wd height. I want my torsion bar truck to be as low as a 4/6 2wd truck. I've seen guys use the DS301 but it almost seems too low of you were to add a 2" drop spindle. I know there are quite a few options for the shock whether it's eyelet with your mount, procomp adapter, stud top adapter with upgraded bushing, etc... Any input or am I stuck lowering the truck first to measure the shock? I didn't really want to lower the truck on torsion bars, but I might have to

If you look at my PDF and go to page 13 it has pictures of what you need to measure, http://atomicfabandperformance.com/w...lovers_v20.pdf

If you can get that measurement at your current ride height as it sits now on the ground and tell me how much lower you want to go I can figure out what combination of stuff you need. And yea several guys have used my brackets in conjunction with drop spindles for more drop.

That's going to be tough, I have a 3" lift and 33" mud tires right now. I would rather try to find someone with what I am trying to achieve and PayPal them $5 to go measure it for me haha

I have the ds301s and am going to be putting Belltech spindles on in a couple of weeks. What exactly are you wanting to know?

I would just like to have a certain ride height for my truck but I have to choose the right coilover. It's tough since getting it wrong means I could lower the jack and the truck is too slammed to drive. Based on the required travel of these shocks, you can't just pre-load it up and get height adjustment, so you need to make sure you're dead nuts on.

I want my truck to look like this with 2" spindles and coilovers only, so I'm curious how yours looks

There is some wiggle room to go up by using spacers, but yea you want to measure the height you want as best you can.

My 4wd is lowered with the coilovers and 2" drop spindles. Using the DS303 shock at 11.25" shock ride height.

It's not quite as low as the photo you posted, I'd say 1-1.5" higher. To get as low as you want, you'd have to use the DS301 for sure.
