Default 5/7 Drop With Helper Bag Question.

I want to install a 5/7 drop on my 06 RCSB and think I should do helper bags at the same time because I will be hauling a motorcycle from time to time.

Would LOVE some advice on what kit to use.
Really like the belltech "kit" for the drop, but it seems that they are no longer selling helper bags.

Maybe piece a kit together with Belltech an McGraughys?

McGraughys shows that their helper bag kit bolts right to their C notch.
This is rather appealing.

Am I over thinking this?
Will the firestone kit work with a C notch?

Thanks for the help.

I'm actually thinking of taking my helper bags off as they were installed exaclty in where the exhaust goes over axle ... so exhaust can only dump before axle and I want it to go all the way out back. Not sure if it'll fit in the c-notch

What brand parts are you using for the drop? Use the same brand helper bags as your notch.

So I guess that means I can't use the belltech complete kit as they don't have bags?

I haven't bought anything yet.

Use McGaughys for everything. Their helper bags bolt onto their notch, super simple to install. Belltech has good 17" spindles, but if you're 2wd, you would go for modded 16" McG spindles

Why the 16inch spindles?

Mcgaughys 16" spindles are the best for retaining steering geometry/minimizing bump steer. Mcgaughys makes a quality kit, I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

Heard the springs and shocks were much better from belltech.
Is that true?

Also lists that the truck will not sit right with the V6?
That was why I was mainly looking at the belltech.

My goal is to have a notch and helper bags that work together.
Guess nothing stops me from running the belltech front and another company for the rear?

Only use belltech for 17" spindles and their street performance shocks, they are great for lowered trucks. Use McGaughys for everything else, you won't be dissapointed. You could flip a coin for the front springs

Just stay away from DJM
