Default Do i in need a notch for a flip kit?

I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado custom 2x4. I was wondering, do I NEED a notch or can I just not install it? What would be the cons and pros? I also use this truck to pull a trailer with a lawnmower, would I need helper bags if I do flip kit it or would I need the notch?

Jesus man, how many threads do you have to make about the same questions.

Is adding on to existing threads not possible?

You do not need to notch. I am 4/7 with no notch an Helper bags. I only rub on top of rear fenders with some of the big waves in the road and I go too fast. You do have to cut/grind the rear bump stops out.

I can send pics of the light rubbing if needed. I did it myself and can answer most of the questions.

Gotta remember pickle guy, you are 2 generations behind when it comes to the frame. What works on a 07-13 doesn't work on a 2019-2022 body style.
