Not to mention being so close if there is trash in the hole or the wrong length bolt is used it would compromise the cylinder wall and create engine damage.

The LSX block has that hole drilled and tapped.

Does anyone have the part number for the actual dipstick? Are they the same as for a 60E/65E?

Not the same tube/stock.

Fyi for the blind hole/dipstick mount : before the trans is in, take a 3/8 nut,round the corners off, with a light tap you can insert it into the mounting ear from the front, and walaa, you have something you can put a short 3/8 bolt into to mount your tube. If you don't round it enough it can Crack the hole so be careful. Been doing this for years.
