Default 4l80e 4x4 swap- Driveshaft question

Just got a question for you 4x4 4l80e swap guys. I know the 4l80e is 1 11/16" longer (thanks Atomic) than a 4l60e. What did you do for the front shaft? The only guy i can find decent around me will shorten and balance the rear for $80 bucks. For the front though, he wants 2-300 since he does a whole new tube and everything or i can get one custom made, for even more. Any other options out there that are cheaper? If i remember right, on my tahoe the yoke is almost all of the way into the t-case, leaving about 5-6" of spline contact. would you be alright losing some of that any not lengthening it? considering the front diff and t case stay mostly stationary?

Pat (03SierraSLT) started a thread that identified different drive shaft specifics.

Ok so your sayin this front driveshaft is a direct bolt in for the 80e swap? I got one from a 2500 and it's 2'' too short.

I cut off my yokes and sent them to driveshaft specialist in texas and im pretty sure a new .125" wall shaft was less than $300.
