Default Nbs vs nnbs

So I have 2006 Silverado (mods in signature) and I was thinking of trading for a 2007-2009 Silverado. What are your thoughts on each? Power, driving, problems. Thanks guys.

The nnbs are nice, biggest issues are cam bearing, lifters, and the damned dod/afm manifold leaking causing oil pressure loss.... Not sure what gm did differently, but there are bearing issues with the gen iv ls engines.

Keep the 06. There much more reliable.

The electrical systems are very sensitive on the NNBS 07 up trucks.

I prefer my gmt900 over my gmt800 truck..much nicer truck

If you ditch the DOD crap and set it up normal all is good
6L80 is a beast of a trans

I guess I'll keep my baby then haha. Thanks guys. Those nnbs just look so nice and I became tempted but I like the hard work I've put into my truck. It barely has 116,000 miles. Still way more to go.

I really like my 2013, with exception of the fact it had a 4.8 and a 4l60 in it.... If itd had a 5.3 or 6.0 and 6l80 i would probably still have it... Especially if payment had been right, but thats another bitch altogether

If you went NNBS, I'd only get a 2010+.

I'd never want to deal with the 07-08 oil leaking problems (most have likely been fixed) and they still had the 4L60e from 07-09 with only the crew cab LTZ's getting the 6L80e in 2009.

I like them both, but honestly driving my nbs vs my nnbs is like going from a covered wagon to a Cadillac
