Default Flowmaster's Scavenger Series Outlaw II Race Mufflers

Flowmaster's Scavenger Series Outlaw II Collector mufflers are designed to attach directly to the exhaust header primary tubes of race headers. These race mufflers are compact and are ideal for applications where minimal sound reduction is required, but a muffler rule is in effect. These mufflers are sold individually and are constructed of 409S Stainless Steel.

Is this a chambered design?

Should include a cut out view in the add even more so with hardcore performance products.

Looks like a good product for a rat rod comunity! Not sure a drag guy will buy a chamber style muffler with any baffling in it when running that large of primaries. Maybe I pulled a pic of the old series?

More pics would be awsome, especially cut aways!

That picture is actually a cut-away of the Flowmaster Scavenger Series Race Muffler. The Outlaw II is a hybrid of that muffler and the original Outlaw Race muffler. Neither of these mufflers are what would be considered a chambered design. The cut-away pic that you posted shows the rings that wrap around the inside of the Scavenger Series Race Muffler. Those rings are used to scrub off a bit of sound. The delta plate in that muffler increases scavenging, in much of the same way that air flows over the wing of an airplane, and also aids in noise cancellation.

The Flowmaster Outlaw II Series Race Muffler was designed to reduce harshness and scrub off a bit of sound for track vehicles when noise restrictions are in place, without negatively effecting power.

Here are a few cell phone pics that I shot of the internals of Flowmaster's new Outlaw II Series Race Mufflers.

The squared-off shape that you can see in this picture helps to increase exhaust velocity and the scavenging of exhaust pulses.
