Default best 22" sticky tire?

So, I know, they don't make drag radials in anything bigger than a 20". And I shouldn't be running 22's if I think my **** is a race truck. But, the bottom line is, I do have 22's, and its gonna be in the neighborhood of 750-800 at the rear wheels. And eventually the 22's will go away, but for now they're here and the truck is heading to Texas in March for TX2K. It's mostly gonna be highway rolls, so what tires do you guys have experience with that's working? From outward appearances, the Nitto NT-05's look like they might be decent. But, I'm hoping some of you can speak from experience and share your knowledge here. Thanks.

I have nitto 420's in 305/45-22 on my single cab and they do fairly well for being on a diesel.

I like the look of those BFG's, they kinda remind me of the MT streets.

You can always treat the tire to help make them softer.
