Smile 5.3 Fast intake manifold thoughts?

My truck is Fbo, RKV3 cam, 3,600 stall, 4.56 gears, ported and polished heads, and a built transmission with red clutches etc. I was thinking a fast intake should really wake up the 5.3 with all of these mods, but I'd like some opinions and maybe some suggestions on what could be better? Thank you.

I'd look at the power per dollar before you spend the money.

The one LSXR intake with the matching throttle body is well over $1,000 combined and they really don't add a ton of power.

I'd just upgrade to a NNBS/TBSS intake and gain you some cheap power.

What FFDP is trying to say is that you get damn near the same gains at a fraction of the cost with the NNBS intake swap.

People will do what they want. I put the $1k I was going to spend on it and added it to my boost fund. That's what I would do, again and again.

Not sure on that. Here is a write up on the NNBS swap.

Yes the tbss and NNBS intakes are the same. The fast lsxrt added 20 hp to the wheels on top end of a bone stock 5.3. Yours could be 25-30 possibly. Your cam and heads will like the fast. It just costs a grand. Here's the post

I put the FAST intake on my 5.3 and its helped out a lot. I have ported heads and big cam, so the bigger intake helped it. With a good tune I picked up 30-45 hp
