Depending on how the converter was built, It could Brake stall that high but likely it will be lower until you install the cam. The cam will likely shift the power band higher and the stall will then flash higher. Its really hard to say though.

From some other threads I've read since I've made that post, it seems that the 3600 will still make the truck "squirrely" even with the stock cam. But when I have the cam thrown it, it will be a screamin' demon. But until cam day, I hope it will be better than what it is now.

*Fingers crossed*

For me and this is just a personal preference, I would do gears before I would the converter.

When I went from 3.23's to 4.11's it was a night and day difference. Not sure what gears you have now, since it's not mentioned.

It looks/sounds like it is running ok. It IS an HD truck so it's already heavy as fk. I'd still compression test it just to rule it out. You don't want anymore then a 10% variation between cylinders.

I'd also want to see the tune. You mentioned that it didn't pull good until around 3300rpms? That doesn't sound right. A stock cam/stock 6.0 should pull really good off idle, assuming the tune is where it needs to be.

I have the 4:10 rear end. I don't have access to the tune file, it's with the guy that tunes my truck, but I will request it. It still runs pretty damn good for being heavy, but I just wish it was a little snappier.

Also, my tuner was having a beach dealing with PE mode, said the truck wouldn't go into it. So I know he compensated for it elsewhere.

It's not something I've heard before. PE mode has half a dozen or more different criteria that it has to meet before it's enabled. All of it however, can be customized.
