I have an 06 Silverado and it is burning up walbro 255 pumps and having a fuel supply issue.

I'm guessing it is the in tank filter, Is it possible to buy and replace just the filter or do I need to buy the whole assembly?

201k on the odometer. The last two pumps have made it about 6 months a piece, they start out nice and quiet and just get louder and louder and then the truck starts stumbling when pulling a load.

I searched Ebay for hours but never stumbled across that....go figure.

I also have an email into Ron @ APE to see if there is a newer better pump or maybe a whole assembly I can just drop in.

Could the pump be pushing the filter against the bottom of the tank?
