Default Injector question?

I'm trying to finish my 5.3 build and have heard how easy it is for guys to get beyond the stock injectors. So I have a buddy that has a new set of Ford Cobra( I believe 42lb )injectors he said he would hook me up with. My question is are they a direct replacement or do I need to do something to make them fit my intake and rail ? Thanks for any help.

O.K. had my buddy measure his and they are about 3" tall, measured mine and they're only 2.25". So I'm guessing his wont work but I did find someone w some LS3 injectors. Does anyone know if these will drop in. I've got this guy on hold as I don't want to buy something that wont work. Any help would be great. Thanks guys

Injectors are measured O ring to O ring, what year is your truck? The ls3 will need the spacers to work on 05+ trucks.
