Fuel pressure drop in boost!! Help!
Ok guys quick run down on my truck!
2004 extended cab chevy...built motor procharged @15#s 4l80 9 inch blah blah blah..
Here's my issue is have a aeromotive 340 intank pump and an A1000 secondary on a return style fuel system. A1000 is activated by a Hobbs switch...I've been having this issue for a while now...when I get to 5 pounds of boost and my secondary pump kicks on my fuel pressure will drop from around 60 to 40 and it will start to lean out...but..it doesn't do it all the time...if I get in the truck in the morning let it get to operating temperature and go beat on it...it's fine for a while...it seems as if when the radiant heat begins to increase it causes this issue...the A1000 is new and I have verified it is coming on! It almost has to be vapor lock but why after 5 years of this same set up is it doing it now! Please help!! I contemplating installing a fuel cooler to see if it help!

I know those a1000 make a lot of heat, possibly enough to cause cavitation. Try putting 5 gallons of fuel in a cooler, and keep it with you, when it starts to act up quickly pull over and dump the cold fuel in, if this resolves then you know heat is the issue. What kind of power is the truck making?
