Default Better weight distribution w/stock tank

I had an interesting idea. My exhaust no longer takes up the passenger side of the area under the bed opposite the fuel tank and we all know the left/right bias is way off. How about moving the tank to the passenger side instead!?

Yes I am cheap and wanna go fast!

IMO, it already sounds like more work than it is worth (don't forget about filler neck and relocating that). I don't know pricing off the top of my head but putting a fuel cell in your spare tire location might be just as much work and cost with a better return on that investment.

Maybe our new forum sponsor Atomic Performance could fab up a cost effective fuel cell for the spare tire location.

I am on a budget and my fuel sytem is currently meeting my needs. I just need the weight moved ... POW! just move it over and extend the filler and feed/return. Should be super cheap and effective. IMO

Look at a DBRods fuel cell. It sits behind the axle, on the frame rails. Nice and center of the truck.

LOL.

I hear ya.

You could move it to the passenger side. What are you going to do with the exhaust?

Do a fuel cell in the bed maybe?
