Default Guess my turbo titan is going to need a 4L80E afterall

The Trans shop called me today to inform me they blew up the 5th rebuild today.. This is the 2nd trans shop I have hired and they have blown 2.. First shop blew 3 before giving up on me.. I'm starting to think c-4 explosives is what my truck needs to fix it.. 25 grand down the drain in last 8 months.. 12k just in transmission rebuilds,cores,valvebodies,etc.. who makes a BULLETPROOF 4L80E trans that has a lifetime warranty? Will also have to have a adapter plate made, custom driveshaft, and some sort of standalone controller for the trans with paddle shifters. Desperatly needing help before I go insane

When they rate a Trans is it for crank HP or rwhp? Cause I seriously doubt my truck will ever have over 850whp

From what I have noticed on these boards, quite a few people spend $3000 on a built 4L80E, but then it break, ....twice.....so then they throw in a junkyard 4L80E and it work great.

The shops that built them didn't warranty them? I mean most trans shops atleast give a 90 day or so... That sucks man.

the big boy flt should prolly hold up for ya and from what I hear they are really good about their warranty stuff

I used Phoenix transmissions in weathrrford. Mine is rated at 950 HP and 1000 tq. Came with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. They have great customer service an stan behind their work.
