took the dd to the track ...both good and bad
My dd is a 95waste ranger splash its a stock 76 302 c4 trans.... only mods is headers intake and carb.. i was spraying a 125 plate. Best pass was 8.83 at 80mphthe i was really impressed. Well it blew a head gasket and a very very good chance it wraped the head. I can get a 88 cammed roller motor for dirt dirt dirt cheap from a buddy who is ls swapping his car. Trying to figure what all is needed for the swap.

I forgot all about this thread. I ended up putting a factory roller motor with the trw pistons back in the truck so it was stock bottom end with just cam and heads. I bumped the shot up to a 200 and it was absoulutly to funnest truck ive ever had. Only reason i can guess is it was a wore out truck rode like **** but damn it hooked on the street with some no name 255 tires, i could do a nitrous launch and hook. I took it to the track and ran 7.4s all day..
