Default Going to be my first round with the blue oval... need some help

I just got a pretty good deal on a 98 f150(50 bucks) that has a great body but a BS 4.2. Have what I think is a 400 or 351M. Anybody know of a good casting numbers site I could use to find out exactly what Ive got? I dont have much experence with these older motors.

THANKS, I half *** expected that, but I'd like to not look like a jackass with an LS1 in a ford, kinda a waste of a good engine. I need some variety.

5.3s can be had for cheaper than you can build up a older ford engine.
