Default Straight Pipe Review

After months of waiting, I am finally getting the muffler cut off of my 2006 F-250 V10 tomorrow morning. I'm getting it welded in place as this is all that my local exhaust shop does (they don't have clamps). If I don't like it, I will simply take it back in to put a performance muffler back on. Hopefully everything will go as planned and I won't have to change anything! I will post my review of it tomorrow!

Reducing back pressure does not hurt low end power.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about that... It's still in the exhaust shop, they said to pick it up in two hours!

It does on Fords!! Everything you change makes them slower.

V10? My uncles boss tried straight piping his. Sounded like a fart can honda. He tried a few setups and finally dropped 2K for a new stock system.

Well, I just picked it up--- and personally, I like it. It's not too loud and doesn't drone. It sounds best at lower RPMs and the sound fades away at highway speeds. I'll just have to see how it goes! Also, I can't feel any power decrease...
