Default dohc swap f150

I have a 4v from a 2001 cobra laying around has anyone done this swap? And I can't find a set of long tubes for a dohc 4v f150. I'm sure I can make the harness work from a 2v I made one for my mustang. But it is just taking up space and have know clue what to do with it.

What year F150 do you have? As for headers, they do not come factory with 4V heads. Do you have a 4.6 or 5.4? The lightning guys do 4v head swaps. Do you have any goals for the truck?

97-? I don't what year they end. The one I'm talking about is the round front end like the gen 2 lightning. I have a 4.6 4v. It collecting dust right now.

My goal is to get the engine out of my garage. When the motor was in the stang it made 321/320 bone stock with long tubes. I have never seen a 4v f150. So I would love to build one since I have so much ford stuff.

I wish it was a 5.4 DOHC.

It should be almost a drop in and go, beside a tune, headers. Would make a fun little project. It might be alittle dogy, with the smaller cubic inches, nothing a turbo couldn't fix.

Right I just can't find any long tubes for it. But I think the hardest part is trying to find a truck worthy to do the swap. I know the motor made 321/320.

Could build something you think ford should have. Example: F5, Boss 4.6, GT-150. Lol weak i know but you get the idea. Boss 5.4 hood along with the lightning ground effects would look good Imo. What transmission you planning on using?

they will be a "one off" set of long tubes

basically any two valve set, with 4v flanges will work
