Did you see cories results from a larger exchanger?

And ice is cheap! 2k would buy a ton of ice.

Yes, and I have already made measurements for plans of one about the same size. Just need to finalize the plans and order it.

I see a 130+ degree rise on a 1/4 mile pass at 15psi. That tells me the coolant is getting entirely heat soaked and is not pulling any heat from the air charge by the end of the run. On a good summer day here in Florida I can easily see 260* IATs.

:dunno: Hopefully a new heat exchanger will get the job done. If not I may ditch FI all together and go with a big cube AL motor to save some weight. However a Procharger would be an easy integration into the current setup.

I'm no engineer, but if you could check the out flowing coolant temp vs the IAT and see how it changes during an increased flow, you could determine if the higher flow is beneficial. I think the key is a larger intercooler volume. I was going to make a large intercooler for my Maggie years ago, but like many things in life I never fini...

I built a larger core 2x different blowers in the past for he Maggie's. Never got feed back on them.
True single pass is the only way to go for water to air. That dual pass stuff just doesnt fly well on higher boost.

Gadgetized that looks awesome!

Trick I never understood what you mean by single pass? The intercoolers I have seen you make have the inlet and outlet on the same side. How could you possibly have a single pass in that scenario?

Water passes through the entire core 1 time. I really don't go into huge details how.
I tried to get into the Maggie world with bigger cores years back. But the market just wouldn't help the cause. . It's not cheap building a/w cores to fit in the area be thicker and still bolt up like the stockers do.

It's a shame. You did great work.

I'm still confused though...

How is that single pass? I love everything else you did with it. I love that it flows significantly more water. I wish it was even thicker to be honest... I feel that's the most important aspect, but otherwise I love it.
