I've been poking around for a thread on someone who has had a magnacharged 5.3, and then swapped to a 6.0L motor and KEPT the blower. I haven't seen anyone swap a lower intake manifold on a TVS blower to go from 5.3 heads to fit a set of 6.0 heads......I was wondering if it's something that has been done or would I have to swap over to 243 heads on my 5.3 to run a cathedral port fitted blower on a 5.3 to be able to swap over to the 6.0? It was just something that one of my friends and I have been discussing.....5.3 now....and maybe someday a 6.0L like an LQ4 when the kids move out...LOL....

5.3 and 6.0 both have Cathedral port heads. Your over thinking this one !!

sweet...thanks for the info guys! have you guys heard of anyone doing it with a TVS2300? I know that people keep saying that its too much blower for the 5.3.....but if its at low boost on the 5.3 and then you already have the 2300 for the bigger motor (probrably an LQ4).....your already set-up.....what do you guys think?

Anything can be done. You are going to have a hard time keeping the boost in check with a 2300 on a 5.3 Even with the largest pulley I am not sure how low you could get the boost.

I keep on thinking that if you can pulley down with the 1900 you could run the stock pulley on the 2300....and have cooler IAT's too without the blower working hard at all.....

IATs are more dependent on boost level than blower rpm, so a 1900 at 7lbs is about the same as a 2300 at 7lbs as far as temperature is concerned.

I had my tvs1900 on my 5.3 with 862 and used it on my 408 with 317 heads without a problem.
