Default Turbo Daily Build Thread

Well I guess it's time I start my build thread. I know what everyone is thinking. Holy cow, another guy doing a turbo! I have been waiting for years to do this, it's just expensive as hell so it takes a while.

Other mods to my truck are in my sig. Only shooting for 500 reliable rwhp.

Parts:
Trick Stage 4 hot pipes
Trick base intercooler kit
Borg Warner S300sx-e 'S369' 69/73 turbo
Precision 46mm wastegate
SpeedHut Gauges
MU1847 fuel pump

I am going to order some ID850s this week. I hope to have all of this installed in 3 weeks.

Really nice looking kit. But man that turbo is teeny. I know the compressor is supposedly rated at 105/hr but that would be equivalent to the 75mm s400 wheel. It should spool very nicely on a 5.3 and support 700-750

Yea it is a small one, but in all reality it's not any different than the 70mm ones these guys like Choda and Fastjweb are running pretty good power out of. I think the larger turbine will help me a little. I don't think anyone on here is running this turbo so I figured I would be the guinea pig.

I never get tired of any of these builds. Post it up!

By the way, you got the wrong boost gauge, it doesn't go high enough!! HAHA

LOVE IT. Everything - solid kit, turbo and the gauges are super clean.

I know! I messed up on that one. They said I could send it back and they will change it to 20 free of charge.

I will try to keep the pictures coming to keep you entertained.

Yea I love these gauges. I have the wideband hooked up to the tps so the warning light only comes on when you are full throttle. You can set a high and low range too. Only thing is that you have to get the AEM inline wideband sensor.

Extended my MAF wiring and got my vacuum setup all squared away. Still need a filter on the passenger side valve cover.

I think I might have to bend that AC line a bit more. What do y'all think?
