I've been all through the K2xx section looking for tech info for my build but haven't found ****. I know it's a world of difference between between the gen 3-4 and the gen 5 DI but I could really use some on stuff like exhaust and pulley size vs boost.

id like some input on what exhaust you guys are running. I was considering the Gibson stainless dual single side exit in front of right rear tire but my tuner says with the blower that will be stupid loud. This is my daily and I want to hear it but don't want it to be so obnoxious that I'm getting pulled over every time I get on it within 100 yards of a cop. I'm also interested in uppingbthe boost a little with a smaller pulley but don't want to get too crazy. I'm told I should expect 7-8 lb with stock pulley (I'm running D-1SC) I'd like to be more around 12 lb.

non-obnoxious trucks that are quiet enough for a cop not to hear 100 yards away typically just need to stay stock. lol

I'm just ******* with you man. For a procharger set up, the bottom line on the exhaust is this: It can't be too big. So do the best you can if sound is your problem. Maybe a single 4" diesel exhaust???

AllenP is the dude you need to talk to regarding how much boost any given pulley set up will make on the new DI 5.3 with a D1sc.

^ that goes for any blower. Bigger exhaust is better, but of course there are diminishing returns in there somewhere. Single 4" with dual 3" collectors is pretty common.
