Swap is done finally fired it
Ok 346 (forged) 317's,trip 12 cam ,80e swap
Is in and crank it up today. stock intake
Fuel system(flex) and tune.Runs but need
To tune for new cam right? So what would you guys
Do as far as getting it running and bugs worked out
Before installing turbo system looks like I need a tune
For new cam so it will run and drive ,also tune for
Turbo once installed .if you guys were in my shoes
How would you go about it ?my dumbass only thought
About tune for turbo not about trip 12 cam and
Crank up of new motor...! I'm all ears

My other concern is reluctor wheel, would it run at all
If they were different? Will pull pan on 4.8
In am to verify! 346 has old style!! Cast#

If the motor had a 58x, the cam sensor would be in the front cover, so that's a dead give away. And no the computer would not run it if it was a 58x on a 24x computer.
Just tune it for how it's setup now, it's that easy. If it's just a cammed motor, tune it like normal. Tune for boost whenever you add boost. You can't do it any other way, so there isn't much to it.
Everything from idle, MAF curve, VE table, spark timing, fueling will have all to be addressed.

It or at least load a mail order tune.
There is a dyno shop but been told to
To stay away!?so I need to figure something

I would install a 2 bar map and have it tuned so it will be acceptable for boost and safe, but the NA areas, tuned for an NA cam ect. Will be ready when you put the turbo on. If you're going from a 58x to a 24x, you'll need a conversion box. Can't change that in the tune.

After 6 weeks of bull shizz,she's running ok
Shifting good lock up working.haven't drove
A lot lowered it 1'f /2"r but with 285/20 she is
Making contact (front) putting stock springs
Back for now!? New bumpers, (all) new
Lights front/rear ,new grille just want it looking
Tight again!? and install hair dryer!! However
Remember when those sets of ls7 lifters or
Some sets where noisey/loud, a while back
Yup I got some! Did trunion upgrade also,
But you can hear it..it's not bad " but you
