[[[[[[I MOVED THIS FROM CLASSIC TRUCKS BECAUSE I FEEL THIS IS A BETTER AREA FOR THIS TOPIC]]]]]]]

I have an uncle with an almost bone stock 1990 454SS.

After taking it to the dyno and puttin down 227/330 he stated..
"I am ready for more"

I was curious if anyone knew of a good supercharger setup for these trucks.

Thanks,
Kevin

(I personally would like to see this truck stay N/A, but it is HIS truck)

Couldn't he adapt a marine supercharger? there seems to be a lot of options for the 7.4 marine engine.

Might be more work than its worth.....i know there are some inherent differences between the marine and auto engines.

Currently procharger still offers a kit, but most of the others have discontinued. Wynjammer also makes a kit, or there is always custom turbo setups.

I think Procharger makes one. Way before I did that though I'd look into the kit from Edelbrock for it's multi-point injection, cylinder heads, and camshaft. It will get you more power or as much easily as just bolting on a blower. The t.b.i. system is a major hold back.

Thanks for all of the help guys.

I'm still trying to read up on everything and figure out my options.

More info would be greatly appreciated!
