Default Replacing my Z06 Cam

01 Silverado 4wd with 2500 Stall, LQ4, PnP 317 heads, Dual Valve springs etc, 1.75 Dynatech Long tubes no cats, Maggie MP112, 3.2 Upper, 10% OD Crank and Z06 Cam

I've narrowed down my choices to LPE GT9 and GT11 as I can get LPE easily and fast.

GT9 - 215/247 duration @ .050 lift - .629/.656 lift with 1.7 rocker 121 CL

GT11 - 215/231 duration @ .050 lift - .631/.644 lift with 1.7 118.0 CL

The only issue is I am running SLP 1.8 Roller rockers, I'm not sure which cam will work best for my application, I drive it daily and am leaning towards the GT11

Edit: After doing the math I need to get rid of the SLP rockers and go back to a 1.7 ratio so I don't have to replace my springs. Comp Ultra golds are going on order and will hold me up until I do my swap

I wouldn't use either cam. No need for that much exhaust lift. Also you have a ton of power left in that pulley. I'd drop to a 3.0 before doing a cam swap. It'll be worth more power than a cam swap.

If you're dead set on a cam swap I would go in a different direction. What are you hoping to gain? What is most important to you? How high do you want to rev when wide open? How do you want it to sound at idle? How important are daily driving manners?

Cams have too much exhaust lift.

Too much lift? How about you much exhaust duration. Why would you run any of those cams with your combo?

The shop I deal with uses LPE products and have produced some wicked setups, I will be going with the GT-11 and I will post my results after. Should be finished in a couple weeks

Yea in glad I chimed in.

You could do a lot better but to each his own. The cam will work well. While you're at it drop the snout pulley down to a 3.0 like I mentioned above.

I asked for advice between the 2 not for a bashing on the choices.

3.0 is waiting to go on, 2.5 gal fuel cell for a I/C res, larger H/X and 60lb injectors if I need them.

I really just am not happy with the cam I have now and looking forward to anything at this point
